It is sponsored by the EAA Aviation Foundation with a goal of 1,000,000 Young Eagles by the year 2003. To become a Young Eagle, you must participate in a 1 hour mini ground school followed by a demonstration flight. You will then receive a completion certificate and your name will be entered into the World’s Largest Logbook.

Our Chapter 838 Young Eagles program occurs on the second Saturday of the month. The class begins promptly at 9:00 am and the program is usually completed by noon, weather permitting. The program does not run December-February to give our pilots and staff a well-deserved break. Pre-registration is recommended by the Tuesday prior to the Program. Contact our or leave a message at our main phone number, (262) 634-7575. Once enrolled, each child must have a signed, completed registration form (complete both sides! download here) at the briefing in order to participate in the demonstration flight, no exceptions. Parents are welcome to observe the class and meet the pilots prior to the flight.
